Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice provided. For precise information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Use Cases
Usage Restrictions for Rental Vehicles
- Prohibited activities include using the vehicle for illegal purposes or engaging in racing, rallying, off-roading, or similar risky endeavors. Transporting hazardous materials or sub-letting the vehicle to unauthorized individuals is not permitted. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, exceeding passenger or weight limits, or leaving designated geographical areas without prior approval is also strictly forbidden.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Wakefield will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will be limited to the total amount you paid for the rental in the previous year.
